Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Funk joined BRC in 2002 after working as a researcher at the University of Virginia's Automobile Safety Laboratory with particular emphasis on lower extremity injuries.  Since joining BRC, Dr. Funk has been retained in cases involving high/low speed automobile and commercial transportation collisions, industrial equipment and power tools, slips and falls, and sports related injuries involving helmets.  He has also published research papers on head and neck injury tolerance, sideswipe collision reconstruction, pedestrian injuries, traffic casualty statistics, and occupant ejections in rollovers.
