Biomechanics & Injury Causation Analysis
  • Dr. Tom McNish has degrees in Medicine and Engineering and works in the fields of Biomechanics and Injury Causation Analysis. His consulting practice currently focuses on, but is not limited to, Product Liability issues involving automobile collisions, occupant protection systems, aviation incidents, and other related issues.

  • Dr. McNish joined BRC in 1994 after a career as a pilot and flight surgeon with the United States Air Force (USAF) where his experience included responsibilities as the Command Surgeon for the Air Force Reserve and serving as a combat pilot and a prisoner of war in the Vietnam conflict. Dr. McNish also received accident investigation training, as well as experience conducting or providing senior staff review, of numerous aerospace incidents during his USAF career.
