Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Banks joined BRC in 1997 after a career in the Canadian armed forces where his work included research in aircrew systems and technologies, acceleration effects, and breathing systems.  During his military career, Dr. Banks was also trained in aircraft incident and accident investigations and has participated in numerous such investigations.  Dr. Banks has limited his consulting practice to Product Liability litigation and focuses on issues involving high speed automotive collisions, aviation incidents, amusement park rides, and commercial transportation.  He has been retained in over 1,650 cases and played a key role in the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster investigation.
