Curriculum Vitae

Dr. Bob Banks joined BRC in 1997 after a career in the Canadian Armed Forces as a pilot and flight surgeon. His work included research in aircrew systems and technologies, acceleration effects, and breathing systems. During his military career, Dr. Banks was trained in aircraft accident investigation and participated in numerous such investigations. Since joining BRC, Dr. Banks has analyzed numerous cases involving automobiles.  He has been retained in over 1,700 cases and played a key role in the 2003 Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster investigation.  Dr. Banks has limited his practice to cars, light trucks and aircraft product liability cases.
