BRC Consultants have analyzed numerous sustained and/or claimed injuries resulting from tractor trailer incidents. They've examined loading and/or unloading operations, instances where a vehicle has been underriden, and collisions affecting occupants seated in the cab, in the sleeping compartment, or some other position within the vehicle.
Locomotives and Trains
Locomotive and train incidents can include collisions of significant severity and with minimal accelerations, a worker who operates rail car doors or switches, and support personnel working in and around the rail yards. BRC is often asked to analyze a person's response to the various forces involved to assess injury potential and cause.
BRC is experienced in the analysis of cases involving high occupancy vehicles, which can expose numerous occupants to various types of forces when a collision occurs. Some of the issues addressed are related to seating positions, restraints, occupant-to-occupant interaction, crashworthiness, and positions at impact.
